Job description

The SENTIENT project (funded by the European Research Council) develops efficient scheduling methods for networked event-triggered control systems. The research in this project is highly interdisciplinary, involving the fields of communications, control and computer science. Furthermore, the research has both theoretic as well as applied components, performed in in our laboratory testbeds on swarm robotics, water transport, and automotive.

This position is focused on the integration of predictive communication models, developed by other members of the team, across communication layers of wireless communication stacks. In particular, the aim would be to exploit such models to devise wireless real-time communication protocols with very low-power consumption.
