Faculteit der Managementwetenschappen

The Radboud University Network on Migrant Inclusion (RUNOMI) is a network of more than 50 scholars who integrate RU-wide knowledge from various disciplines to study the multifaceted phenomena of migration and migrant inclusion. RUNOMI activities focus on three domains related to migrant inclusion: economic inclusion, social inclusion, and migrant access to public services, healthcare and housing. The first domain entails issues such as equal opportunities in education and the labour market. The second domain is related to equal (civil) rights and participation in public decision making and security. The third domain is concerned with migrant access to public services, healthcare and housing. The three domains are not viewed as distinct entities, but are rather explored through domain overarching initiatives to benefit from their rich interrelationships. The RUNOMI network office is hosted by the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment at the Nijmegen School of Management. The network activities are being directed by the Network Coordinator and the Board of Faculty Representatives. A Student Assistant supports the operational work.
The RUNOMI network office is hosted by the Nijmegen School of Management (NSM), which is an academic centre of research and higher education, focusing on institutional and managerial issues within complex organisations in both the public and private domains. The NSM strives for a multidisciplinary approach where possible. Altogether, the NSM employs 265 FTE's, 75% of whom are academics. The NSM's research activities fall under the responsibility of the interdisciplinary Institute for Management Research (IMR). Under the motto 'creating knowledge for society', the IMR focuses on academic research into the development, design and effectiveness of the public and private structures that regulate, govern or manage human interactions.
