The Student Affairs Officer / Financial Assistant will fill in for a member of Student Affairs when they are on leave, vacation, or during peak performance times. Because of this, you must be comfortable working with computers in Outlook, Excel, Access, and SAP, be able to mediate processes between multiple parties, and be flexible to enter a project at any time.
Tasks
In summary, you will act as an assistant to the Head of Student Affairs and support the team of Student Affairs by assisting each member in their peak busy times and filling in during times of absence.
Fixed-term contract: 12 months.

UNU-MERIT, including MGSoG, has been closely involved in research for a variety of UN agencies, including the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the World Bank.
Overall the institute functions as a unique research centre and graduate school for around 100 PhD fellows and 140 master students. It is also a UN think tank addressing a broad range of policy questions on science, innovation and democratic governance.
