The Department of Public Administration (PA) of the faculty Behavioural, Management and Social sciences (BMS) is looking for an Assistant Professor in Public Administration, focusing on administration and policy in a transforming technological and societal context.
Assistant Professor in Public Administration (1 fte)
The challenge
The successful candidate will be part of the Department of Public Administration that investigates new challenges for administration and policy in a context of societal and technological transformations associated with the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This position is an exciting opportunity for co-developing and contributing to teaching public administration in various educational programs of the faculty, including the BSc Management, Society & Technology, the MSc Public Administration and the MSc European Studies. The candidate teaches public administration courses, supervises bachelor and master theses, and acquires a University Teaching Qualification within an agreed period. The candidate contributes to public administration research aimed at generating new understanding of administrative and policy responses to today’s grand societal and technological challenges. The successful candidate will actively acquire funding for research projects.
