As a Student Recruitment Adviser, you will be responsible for the development,
execution and evaluation of Marketing & Communication plans and (online) marketing and recruitment activities that contribute to UM and faculty strategic goals and targets related to student population.
The tasks of this position consist of (among others):
· Development of the faculty’s student recruitment plan.
· Planning and management of the execution of marketing and recruitment activities (online and on campus) as well as online marketing campaigns as per the faculty’s student recruitment plan.
· Development of programme/student recruitment-related content (text, photos, video, etc.) for online and offline materials.
· Evaluation of student recruitment activities using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
· Representing Maastricht University at (inter)national student recruitment fairs and events (online and in person).
· Creating and giving student recruitment-related presentations (e.g. to students, teachers, parents and others).
· Acting as the main liaison from M&C to FPN bachelor/master Programme Directors, the Admissions team, the Bachelor selection team and course coordinators.
· Participating actively as a member of UM-wide student recruitment tactical groups (e.g. for bachelor's or master's recruitment).
· Coordinating and managing student assistants who support student recruitment activities.
· Planning and conducting personal appointments with prospective students.
· Acting as the main liaison from M&C to FPN bachelor/master Programme
Directors, the Admissions team, the Bachelor selection team and course
coordinators.
· Participating actively as a member of UM-wide student recruitment tactical
groups (e.g. for bachelor's or master's recruitment).
· Coordinating and managing student assistants who support student

Requirements for this position
· A master's degree in marketing, or related field of study (preferred);
· At least two years of experience in (international) marketing;
· Experience with implementing online campaigns, including SEO, SEA, and
Social Media;
· Experience with international marketing of higher education (preferred);
· Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
· Analytical, conceptual, problem solving, networking, proofreading and
writing skills;
· Ability to work both independently and as a team player;
· Flexible orientation, tolerance for change and willingness to work outside
normal business hours;
· Hard worker, outgoing personality, out-of-the-box thinker, creative brain, energetic, focused on results and relationships, a ‘can do’ mentality.
Fixed-term contract: 2 years, with shown suitability after 2 years, this contract will be changed to a permanent contract.
The gross monthly salary ranges between € 2.790,00 and € 4.402,00. These salaries mentioned are based on a fulltime appointment. The salary in this appointment will depend on education and relevant working experience, based on salary scale 10 of the CAO NU (UFO profile Communications Advisor, level 3).
The appointment (0,8 – 1.0) will be for the period of two years. With shown suitability after 2 years, this contract will be changed to a permanent contract.
