Job description

Are you a proactive post-doc interested in food systems and the behavioural aspects of systems transformation? Are you ready to explore the gap between individual behaviour and social change in cities and regions? We are looking for an economist with experience in designing and conducting experiments.

We believe that a systems approach to urban economics requires behavioral insights and (choice) experiments designed to inform larger scale models. Current debates about social tipping and the transformation of urban systems lack behavioral insights, and you have an opportunity to lead an internationally visible research agenda. Are you ready to contribute with original and innovative ideas? Then apply for this post-doc position and work in a team with Prof. Eveline van Leeuwen, Prof. Francisco Alpízar, and Dr. Roger Cremades on an open and exciting research agenda. If you are interested, you can also take part in the educational activities of the Urban Economics Group, such as supervising students or contributing to lectures.
