Job description

We are looking for a project manager who wants to be a part of our enthusiastic team and is looking for an opportunity to be part of a high-profile international project with an excellent network of academia, industry and healthcare professionals. Will you join our team?

For the IMI-funded project BIGPICTURE we are looking for a project manager to complement the coordination team at Radboudumc. As member of the Bigpicture coordination team, you support the two coordinators, the leading scientists of the AI work package and the work package on sustainability at Radboudumc. Also, you work in close collaboration with the communications officer and the project manager at Lygature, who is responsible for managing the project across the consortium.

You keep track of project progress, monitor deliverables and you facilitate and coordinate complex project tasks and organize meetings. You manage the budget and compile the periodic reports in liaison with the Radboudumc financial controller, using input from the whole consortium and Lygature. You also prepare amendments and manage contracts in collaboration with the Radboudumc Grant Support Office. This project offers a dynamic, multicultural environment where team collaboration is key to success in the highly competitive and multi-facetted field of AI in healthcare.

Requirements

You are an experienced project manager in academia and/or ICT sector in complex international research & innovation projects. You are knowledgeable and experienced in the field of financial and legal aspects of EU H2020 or IMI grant projects.

Furthermore:
  • At least a bachelor's degree in biomedical or computer science or other relevant area.
  • A pro-active, responsible and well-organized team player, who enjoys teamwork.
  • An excellent communicator in English and Dutch, both in speaking and writing who can maintain harmonious cooperation in complex internal and external settings with various stakeholders.
  • Able to shift between tasks and keep oversight on priorities. You know when to align with other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accurate and diligent, e.g. in compiling reports on budgets.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 3 years, with possible extension.

We offer a parttime position (temporary contract for max 3 yrs) for 24 hours a week, flexible hours, and the possibility to work partly from home.

Upon commencement of employment we require a certificate of conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag, VOG) and there will be, depending on the type of job, a screening based on the provided cv. Radboud university medical center's HR Department will apply for this certificate on your behalf.
