Employment starts on 15 August 2021 and will run for a fixed term of 2 year initially, to be converted into a permanent contract contingent upon a good performance.
The conditions of employment correspond with the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) of the Dutch Universities (CAO NU). Salary is subject to training and experience and corresponds to Scale 11 or 12 CAO NU, with a maximum of € 5.826,- gross per month on a 38 hour per week contract. In accordance with the CAO NU a placement in a preliminary salary scale is possible for the maximum duration of two years.

The Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication (ESHCC) is part of Erasmus University Rotterdam. The school has three departments: History, Arts and Culture and Media & Communication.
ESHCC offers high quality education, based on scientific research, at the intersection of the Humanities and Social Sciences. We teach our ambitious, Dutch and international students in a stimulating learning environment. After graduation, they will have acquired the knowledge, insight and skills to make an important and inspiring contribution to an increasingly international society in which diversity plays a major role.
The ESHCC also has an ambitious research agenda.
