Job description

We are looking for a credential evaluator to prepare recommendations for the admission committees for various Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Based on information from ENIC-NARIC and other sources, you will provide recommendations on the recognition of previous international qualifications. In addition to providing recommendations, you will be involved in internal projects in the area of credential evaluation. Your duties will also include other common activities of the Student Admissions Team, such as checking (certified) documents and providing information to faculty admissions officers and prospective students. You will provide both standard and customised information by email, at the information desk, and over the phone.

Requirements

  • An enthusiastic and energetic professional with at least 2 years of experience in the field of credential evaluation.
  • Knowledge of international academic recognition (Nuffic/ENIC-Naric).
  • A completed higher professional education or academic education.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written Dutch and English (C1 level).
  • A precise worker with a customer- and service-oriented attitude. You always remain calm and work accurately, even under deadline pressure.
  • The ability to work independently, show initiative and function as part of a team in a pleasant and stimulating way.
  • Thorough knowledge of Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience of working with Osiris is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the organisation of Dutch university education would be a plus.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 1 year.

  • Employment: 0.6 FTE.
  • A maximum gross monthly salary of € 3,548 based on a 38-hour working week (salary scale 8).
  • The exact salary depends on your qualifications and amount of relevant professional experience. Depending on experience, an entry level scale may apply (scale 7).
  • In addition to the salary: an 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
  • Duration of the contract: 1 year.
  • The intended start date is 1 August 2021.

Academic Affairs

The Student Admissions Team is part of the Student Information and Administration Department within the Academic Affairs Division. The Student Admissions Team is responsible for the administrative processing of the admission and registration of students with previous international qualifications and international exchange students. The team also takes care of visa applications and insurance arrangements, and assists in the search for housing for these target groups. In addition, the team is responsible for the admission processes of students with previous Dutch qualifications. The team and department are characterised by a dynamic academic culture.
