The Maastricht Graduate School of Governance offers a MSc in Public Policy and Human Development. This one-year programme leads to a double degree in collaboration with United Nations University (UNU).
Your tasks comprise the following:
1. Secretary Board of Examiners: handle the BoE mailbox, organize meetings, prepare case files, take minutes, archive decisions in student files in Corsa. You understand the rules and regulations of UM and UNU.
2. Coordination of special exams (e.g. for students with a disability): organize exam location and proctors, communicate with exam coordinator, course coordinators, tutors and study advisor.
3. Exam administration: make sure that grades are handed in, check for correctness, registration of grades in SAP, keep list of students who failed resits.
4. Graduation administration: check that students met their payment obligations, register graduations in SAP, prepare graduation statements, order diplomas, arrange for diplomas to be picked up or sent.
Fixed-term contract: 1 year.

The School is integrated within United Nations University – MERIT (UNU-MERIT). The School is the centre for the institute’s double degree Master of Science in Public Policy and Human Development, which aims to train public policy professionals for the global community.
UNU-MERIT, including MGSoG, has been closely involved in research for a variety of UN agencies, including the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the World Bank.
Overall the institute functions as a unique research centre and graduate school for around 100 PhD fellows and 140 master students. It is also a UN think tank addressing a broad range of policy questions on science, innovation and democratic governance.
