What you will be doing:
You will be cooperating closely with education marketing, event management and student admission colleagues both within Erasmus School of Economics and Erasmus University Rotterdam in order to achieve the goals and targets set for internationalisation and education marketing.
As the International Student Recruitment Officer, you are responsible for the correct positioning of our educational programmes (BSc/MSc, with a strong focus on MSc) on the international market and you play a key role in the international education marketing activities of the school. You build on existing strategies for international marketing & recruitment.
You will be organising and potentially participating, in virtual and/or physical education marketing activities, like education fairs, online presentations/webinars, open days or other international events. The promotion of Double degree programmes (BSc and MSc) at partner universities abroad and within Erasmus School of Economics (in collaboration with colleagues at the school) is also one of your responsibilities. Besides, you will be in touch with prospective students to answer their questions through email and other direct marketing channels.
In this role, you will be part of the school’s Communication, Internationalisation, Marketing and Alumni team. You will work closely with the Online Marketing Advisor to monitor and improve SEA/SEO, study portals and social media as marketing tools for the recruitment of international students. You will be collaborating with the student-assistant Leads management regarding international leads management as well as quarterly newsletters to prospective students via CRM (Microsoft Dynamics/Clickdimensions)
What we expect of you:
Fixed-term contract: max. 7 months.
We offer an internationally-oriented and varied job within an enthusiastic team at an ambitious school, with attractive fringe benefits in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO-NU). The start date of this position would preferably be as soon as possible up until June 2022.
The successful candidate will be offered a temporary part-time (0.6-0.8 fte) contract for a maximum of 7 months with Erasmus University Rotterdam. In accordance with the conditions applied at Erasmus University Rotterdam as indicated in the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO NU) of the Dutch universities, the salary is dependent on the candidate’s experience and is set at a maximum of CAO NU scale 9 or 10 with a minimum of €2.836,- and a maximum of €4.474,- gross per month, on a fulltime basis. In addition, EUR pays an 8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year payment of 8.3% and offers excellent secondary benefits, and a very generous leave scheme. Furthermore, EUR is affiliated with ABP for the pension provision, and we offer partially paid parental leave, fully paid extended birth leave for partners, a personal education budget, work-life balance coaches and more. Employees can also use EUR facilities, such as the Erasmus sports center and the University library.
