Job description

As one of our Grant and Research Projects Advisors you will be part of the IMR Research Services team. Your duties will include providing advice on individual and collaborative grants to individual researchers and groups of researchers (in close collaboration with the central Radboud University department of Academic Affairs), setting up and maintaining internal information channels on talent scouting, successful grant acquisition and general research information.

You will also team up with researchers in developing academic and societal partner networks through facilitating consortium and network meetings and by identifying research communication opportunities. You will also be involved in post-award programme management activities concerning projects that have been awarded, such as organising consortia meetings, workshops, and supporting mid-term progress reports.

You will work in close collaboration with the financial and personnel departments of the Nijmegen School of Management (Radboud University). Your work will be supervised and coordinated by the Director of Research/Head of IMR Research Services. As the IMR Research Services team is also involved in valorisation, research ethics and research data management, and quality reviews of the institute, new members of the team are expected to bring in or develop expertise on some of these fields. Differentiation of responsibilities and duties amongst the three positions will be decided by IMR in consultation with the selected candidates.
