Job description

The Department of Medical Informatics is looking for a Service Desk Operator to assist the EHDEN project , a large international project funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative. The EHDEN project aspires to be the trusted observational research ecosystem to enable better health decisions, outcomes and care. Its mission is to provide a new paradigm for the discovery and analysis of health data in Europe, by building a large-scale, federated network of data sources standardised to a common data model. This work is done in close collaboration with the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI).

You will be responsible for resolving incoming issues and questions from the broad spectrum of users of the EHDEN software ecosystem. In doing so you will have an essential role in the operation of the data network and will provide support to impactful healthcare research in European. You will be part of a large international network or data partners and researchers.

Requirements

  • Candidates have a higher educational background and ample experience as in IT performance analysis and support.
  • They have experience with customer relationship management (CRM) and task management software, are used to working in collaborative environment and can effectively communicate solutions to users with a broad range of IT skills.

Conditions of employment

  • As a service desk operator you will have a temporary position of two years (full-time).
  • The gross monthly salary starts at € 2.844 (scale 8) and can amount to a maximum of € 4.284,- (scale 9), depending on your level of education and relevant experience and based on a full-time working week of 36 hours.
  • Excellent fringe benefits, such as a 13th month that is already paid out in November and an individual travel expense package.
  • Pension insurance with ABP. We take care of approximately 2/3 of the monthly contribution.
  • Special benefits, such as a incompany physiotherapist and bicycle repairer. And there is also a gym where you can work on your fitness after work.
