Job description
Within the Education Service Centre (ESC) of the BMS faculty there is a vacancy for an Executive Secretary examination boards BMS (20-24 HRS). The ESC supports a total of 5 bachelors programmes and 12 masters programmes in the BMS faculty. The support includes, amongst others, programme coordination, internationalisation and quality assurance of programmes.

Your tasks
The Faculty of BMS has four examination boards in the field of Behavioural Sciences, Management Sciences, Governmental Sciences and Interdisciplinary Sciences. The examination boards of BMS are supported by the Registry. The Registry consists of three staff members that offer support on a legal, analytical, substantive and procedural level.
You are the contact for the chairs of the Examination Boards (and possibly Program Directors) in relation to the work of the Registry. You contribute to ensuring the quality and correct execution of the work of the Registry. You focus on harmonizing and also on optimizing the processes at the Registry. You play an active role in monitoring the year circle and you provide legal support for complex requests from students and appeals. You ensure good communication with the program boards, and you make an active contribution to quality assurance and quality assessment. You also have a supporting role in preparing annual reports, appointing examiners and compiling the Rules and Guidelines of the Examination Boards. You are aware of and follow developments in legislation in the field of higher education. If needed, you provide support with the accreditation of programs and you ensure training and supervision of newly appointed members of the examination boards.
