IHS is looking to fill one position of Academic Assistant within the Urban Economics & Governance department. This Academic Assistant will contribute to the educational, research and advisory activities in which the department is engaged in the field of, among others, urban economic development and geography, land markets and real estate development, urban complexity and resilience, governance processes, and urban policies and planning.
Qualifications and competencies
We are looking for a candidate who:
Fixed-term contract: starting for a period of 1 year, with a possible extension of 2 additional years (total maximum of 3 years).
The candidate must be in possession of a Dutch residence permit or be an EU citizen. The position is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, starting for a period of 1 year, with a possible extension of 2 additional years (total maximum of 3 years), and is based on 40 hours per week.
Remuneration will be in line with the responsibilities of the role and related to the work experience of the candidate. For full-time employment the minimum gross monthly salary is € 2,471 and maximum € 3,336 based on 40 working hours per week and on a salary scale of 7 of the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch universities (CAO NU).
Starting date will be in August or September 2022.
