The Reflective Engineer programme helps students prepare for their future roles of innovation drivers. And as a Project Facilitator you will drive co-creation in pioneering educational methods.

Job description

Designing reflection methods for academic education is not enough: it’s all about embedding those methods. Co-creation is key to ensuring that all the stakeholders, including students, university teachers, professors, educationalists and faculty support staff, embrace such methods. And in the Reflective Engineer programme’s team you will play a crucial role in co-creation, supporting the various phases of our design projects.

Based on the team manager’s idea inception you organise, plan and lead workshops, identifying the relevant stakeholders and applying methods to extract their underlying needs and challenges. You will also analyse and process the data, including feedback, obtained from those workshops, which serve as input for subsequent design phases. And if you have ideas for new teaching concepts, such as the application of gaming, we encourage you to share them. In fact, you may even evolve to designing methods yourself.

Although our currently four-strong team operates from 3mE, our work is geared to the university as a whole. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution for all our faculties, where focus and cultures differ widely. This means that you will adapt your approach to faculty-specific and even department-specific stakeholders. That’s how you secure the development of user-centric methods with which stakeholders feel comfortable and which they’ll embrace and adopt. As our 18 months’ programme is still in its start-up phase, you’ll be helping us optimise our design, co-creation and implementation processes. And to enable you to develop your own skills and role, we will give you all the support and training you need!
