The Donders Centre for Cognition, embedded in the Faculty of Social Sciences, has an opening for a Management Assistant. For your group, you will act as a central point of contact for queries from staff, students and external parties; organise and supervise events and various meetings and assist communication actions. You will act as the central point of contact for new personnel and facilitate hiring processes. You will order goods and services. You will handle telephone calls and manage (complex) agendas and email and occasionally take minutes. Also, you will be a member of the DCC support team; together with your colleagues you will support our staff in administrative, organisational and social activities within our institute.

• You are fluent in spoken and written English and Dutch.
• You have above-average office ICT skills (especially PowerPoint, Teams, organisation of hybrid meetings, and Excel).
• You are preferably used to working in a science environment with academic staff, or have experience working with professionals in a large complex organisation.
• You are proactive, accurate, immune to stress and result-oriented.
• You are capable of keeping things organised in a dynamic environment.
• You have experience with the described responsibilities.
• You have planning and organisational talent.
• You are a team player with a good sense of humour.

Fixed-term contract: It concerns a temporary employment for 1 year, with the prospect of a permanent position after positive evaluation.

• It concerns an employment for 0.5 FTE.
• The gross monthly salary amounts to a minimum of €2,471 and a maximum of €3,336 based on a 38-hour working week, depending on previous education and number of years of relevant work experience (salary scale 7).
• You will receive 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
• It concerns a temporary employment for 1 year, with the prospect of a permanent position after positive evaluation.
• You will be able to use our Dual Career and Family Care Services.
