Job description

In this varied challenging job, you will be responsible for managing project activities,  reporting on progress and disseminating results to the stakeholders in the  RITA European Reference Network. You will support the overall strategic objectives of the network and promote the network through clear communication with stakeholders to ensure awareness of this professional international network. 

You will be responsible for conceiving and creating content to increase the involvement of medical specialists and patient groups and ensure optimal visibility of actions and results. Setting up, implementing and supervising internal and external communication is part of your job.

  • You are involved in the planning, organisation, monitoring and reporting of project activities;
  • You provide assistance in writing project plans and preparing reports;
  • You assist network leaders in organising their work activities and ensure that deadlines are met;
  • You organise meetings and events (hybrid events, conference) and coordinate the follow-up of action items;
  • You will co-manage the ERN RITA database;
  • You will work with a colleague to ensure outreach on various social media channels and provide timely social media support for activities.

You will work in close collaboration with the coordination team members, remote ERN-RITA teams across Europe and international collaborators. This position can be done partly remote but we request to be at least one day a week in Utrecht to join the team.

Requirements

  • HBO/University work and thinking level
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience, preferably in a complex international environment
  • Excellent written and spoken command of the English language
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of current trends in the field of (digital) communication.

Depending on your experience and background, you will recieve a salary en scale 9 or 10. 

We invite people with a workpermit for the Netherlands to apply for this position.

Conditions of employment

The maximum salary for this position (24 - 28 hours) is € 4.707,00 gross per month based on full-time employment.

In addition, we offer an annual benefit of 8.3%, holiday allowance, travel expenses and career opportunities. The terms of employment are in accordance with the Cao University Medical Centers (UMC).

The ERN RITA coordination team where you will be working is based at the Wilhelmina Childrens Hospital / University Medical Center Utrecht. The coordination team currently exists of 3 enthusiastic persons.
