Job description

Would you like to support cutting-edge research and teaching into cybersecurity and AI with your programming expertise? As a scientific programmer, you will help researches solve scientific challenges by designing and constructing experimental prototypes. A meaningful position, where you help us combine research on the foundations of computer science with societally relevant problems.

As a scientific programmer you will support researchers in cybersecurity and AI by designing, constructing and rolling out experimental prototypes. Moreover, you will help prepare tutorials for students and organise lab materials.

You should have a strong background in computer science, but we do not expect you to have any cyber security-specific knowledge. As such, you will also be able to support data science and software science groups.

Finally, since the intersection of AI and cybersecurity is a relatively new field with many unsolved challenges, this will also allow you to provide feedback on interesting research directions and actively participate therein.
