Job description

Within a multidisciplinary team we develop new MRI techniques to understand cerebral physiology as well as to detect early signs of neurodegenerative diseases. In this project we want to identify subtle damage to the blood-brain-barrier by monitoring the transport of water as it crosses from the blood vessels into brain tissue. At the moment, it is unclear which compartments the water enters as it leaves the vasculature. In collaboration with fundamental researchers from Amsterdam UMC, you will study this process and learn how this can be applied to clinical research and care. Will you join our team?
