Job description

Administrative tasks at Maastricht University related to incoming and outgoing YUFE students:

  • Co-organisation and support of various (welcome- and information) meetings for (prospective) YUFE students.
  • Registration and admission process of students enrolling for courses and activities in Maastricht University, through the YUFE Student Journey.
  • Providing information to YUFE incoming and outgoing Maastricht University exchange students.
  • Monitoring and updating the YUFE course catalogue with courses and activities from Maastricht University.
  • Preparation and administration for YUFE students’ physical exchange (both incoming and outgoing students) via Erasmus+ (e.g. registration in SAP of new student, communication with Visa Office regarding visa check, admissions office regarding student card and certificate of registration, learning agreement etc.)
  • Communication with Maastricht University faculties (front officers, IRO’s) regarding enrolment of YUFE student onto academic courses at Maastricht University.
  • Communication with YUFE student (admission) officers at the 9 universities in the YUFE Alliance.
  • Gathering of pertinent information for and the issuance of YUFE Rewards for graduating YUFE students.
  • Training/coordination of YUFE admission student assistant at Maastricht University.
  • Optimizing processes regarding registration, monitoring and archiving of registrations and questions of YUFE students at Maastricht University.
  • Reporting to head of YUFE Student Journey.

Requirements

  • MBO+/HBO level.
  • Pioneering spirit, conscious about what working in a pioneering phase entails.
  • Enthusiastic about setting up a new administration.
  • Active interest in student support, preferably experienced with SAP registrations.
  • Drive to support students in their YUFE Student Journey.
  • Excellent oral and written command of the English language.
  • Good communication and administrative skills.
  • Excellent command of Excel.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 1 year with the possibility for an extension.

  • UFO function profile student affairs officer, salary scale 8 (€2.818 – €3.764) on a full-time basis)
