Terms and conditionsThe successful candidate will be part of an ambitious and dynamic team. Initially, the successful candidate will be appointed for one year. Depending upon funding and performance, the position can be extended to a permanent position. The salary will be in the usual range for an Assistant Professor; the level depends on previous experience, and normally ranges between € 3,974.- and € 5,439.- (scale 11 according to the terms of the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities), gross per month on the basis of a full-time appointment.

Leiden University requires teaching staff to obtain the University Teaching Qualification (UTQ). If the successful applicant does not already possess this qualification or its equivalent, he/ she must be willing to obtain this Qualification within two years.
