Our Human-Centered Computing group is part of the division Interaction of the Department of Information and Computing Sciences, which is embedded in the Faculty of Science. Its departments work together to focus on answering some of humanity’s most pressing problems.
Our work is motivated by real-world applications and we have long-term research cooperations with industry (e.g., HONDA and the Netherlands Railways, NS). Their work is published open access in outlets such as Nature Computational Science, (Nature) Scientific Data, and User Modeling and User-Adapted Interaction and led to several patents. We aim to generate value for both science and society and, consequently, have impact.
