Our team studies novel therapeutic modalities in
colorectal cancer (CRC) as well as the pathways that dictate tumor formation and metastasis.
Your project aims to study the mechanism that underlies the metastatic process in mesenchymal CRC and addresses how this form of cancer escapes from therapy.
About your role
- Your work involves the use of patient derived organoid cultures, mouse organoid models derived from GEMM and the in vivo models themselves to study the metastatic process and therapeutic modalities.
- Using standard molecular techniques you will modify tumor models to validate mechanisms of resistance and metastasis.
- Using cell biological assays you will study tumor development in vitro and therapy impact in vitro and in vivo.
