What will you be doing?

The Officer Global Education Programmes coordinates and administrates the daily activities of the Master programmes, which MSM conducts abroad, in collaboration with local partner institutes. You will work in a team with 9 other officers, each with their own responsibilities and tasks

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Act as the main contact person for the local programme coordinator(s) -  together you make sure that the program runs smoothly.
  • Train the local programme coordinator(s) on MSM’s rules, regulations, systems, process and procedures related the Master’s programmes.
  • Ensure that partner institutes correctly implement MSM’s rules and regulations and meet MSM’s quality requirements and accreditation criteria.
  • Administrating the daily activities of the program e.g. registering grades, booking the modules in SAP, setting up courses in the learning management systems (Moodle, Canvas).
  • Organizing annual Summer Specializations, study trips to the Netherlands, company visits for student groups, research proposal presentations and thesis defenses.
  • Supporting QA controls and accreditation audits by providing all required information and documentation.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and have at least 2-3 years of working experience in a similar position. You have full proficiency in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.

Furthermore you:

  • Work in an organized way and know how to set priorities.
  • Have excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Are a team player and you keep your head cool in stress full situations.
  • Have an eye for detail and you can work very accurately

What do we have to offer?

This is a dynamic and challenging position in a truly international environment. You will be in contact with partners, lecturers and colleagues from all over the world.

We offer you a position for 0.8 or 1.0 FTE for the duration of 12 months, which will be extend to permanent employment upon positive evaluation

Your salary will be in scale 8 or 9, depending on relevant education and work experience. This means a minimum of € 2,818 and a maximum of € 4,257 gross per month for a full-time appointment of 38 hours per week. The salary is supplemented annually with a holiday allowance of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3%.

According to the university's relocation policy, you must move to (the vicinity of) Maastricht. If you do not yet live in Maastricht (or its immediate surroundings), you will be eligible for a contribution towards moving expenses. Other secondary conditions include a pension scheme, partially paid parental leave and the possibility to work hybrid.
