Are you an inspiring educational advisor, who can empower lecturers to design great (online) courses for adults? Then this job is for you!

Job description

Delft University of Technology’s Extension School for Continuing Education is looking for an educational advisor / learning developer for mainly online adult education, who understands that the core of good teaching lies with great teachers and course design, rather than just technology.

For this position, your primary task will be helping lecturers to (re)design fully online courses, aimed at international professionals. You do this by guiding groups of teachers and student assistants in developing Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and paid Professional Education Courses for life-long learners. The majority of these courses will go live on an EdX platform.

In this role, you will guide your course teams with the feedback, tools and insights to make their courses successful. You will supervise several course teams at the same time, with one requiring more or a different type of guidance than the other. Development of a new online course takes an average of nine months to a year. You will also help coordinate and support in the rerun process of many previously successful courses.

Other tasks include delivering online-focused trainings and the potential to develop other types of life-long learning for our team.

You do all this within TLS and the Extension School’s online learning team: a committed and international group of colleagues, who focus on digitizing education and making education globally accessible.
