The Wageningen University Marketing and Consumer Behaviour (MCB) group is one of the leading research groups in the fields of agriculture and food worldwide. Requirements

As a Tenure track assistant professor you are an ambitious and enthusiastic scientist who is devoted to research and education in the field of marketing, and who is eager to make a scientific and societal contribution. To strengthen our team your profile should signal the following:
  • A PhD in marketing or related field and preferably postdoc experience
  • A track record of publications (at least two publications in journals listed in Web of Science in marketing or related fields during the last three years)
  • you have a strong research profile and potential
  • you have relevant and well-evaluated teaching experience
  • you have the quantitative skills and you are a team player
  • knowledge of or affinity with agri-food is a strong plus
Tenure Track is a career path for hardworking scientists who pursue to excel in education and research. We seek to attract scientific talent and to stimulate and support their development. The career path consists of a number of successive career steps from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor to possibly Personal Professor. Excellent performance and seniority can be rewarded with an appointment as Associate Professor.

Conditions of employment

We offer a temporary 7 year contract for 38 hours per week (fulltime), which can lead to a permanent employment contract. You also have the opportunity to work 40 hours a week with additional holidays.
The monthly salary depends on your work experience & expertise and is based on a fulltime (38 hrs) job in according to the Collective Labour Agreement and ranges from € 50,758 up to € 69,473 depending on expertise and experience.
