Job description

An intellectually stimulating job: can you create new collaborations with Groen Kennisnet? And keep track of all ongoing projects? Read the text below, especially if you want to earn a good salary and have plenty of opportunities to work from home.

For Groen Kennisnet (GKN), we are looking for someone who can combine the roles of project leader and account manager. GKN is the platform for knowledge sharing within the green sector. With over 550,000 knowledge items, GKN is the largest Dutch-language collection of current and reliable knowledge sources for the food and green domain. GKN facilitates farmers, researchers, teachers, and students in accessing, searching, and finding knowledge sources and learning materials in the field of food and green. You will be working in a compact team.

Part of the role will be carried out for the Crkls initiative (at least 0.2 FTE). Crkls aims to offer applicable knowledge to farmers (www.crkls.nl). Results from research and practical trials in the Netherlands are collected and assessed for relevance and reliability, and uniformly published in clear language. You will be responsible for rolling out the supply of research projects whose results need to be published on Crkls.

You will ensure that clear agreements are made with partners and that the execution of projects is successfully completed. You will do this together with the relevant editor who is substantively involved. This includes both projects within current funding and projects that provide additional payment. You will work closely with your colleagues, researchers, and stakeholders from the green domain to properly disclose information on our website and thus get the right knowledge to the right place.

Job Description
As a project leader and account manager, you will be closely involved in all aspects of Groen Kennisnet.

Specifically, your tasks will include:
  • Acting as the point of contact for partners of Groen Kennisnet;
  • Maintaining good relationships with partners while adhering to the frameworks set within Groen Kennisnet;
  • Serving as the first point of contact for clients of Crkls. You will oversee the entire process from application to one year after publication;
  • Managing the translation and publication of research projects on the Crkls website. This includes explaining the process and funding to the research organization or client wishing to have research translated;
  • Seeking new collaborations and attending networking events when relevant;
  • Being responsible for the execution of projects together with your colleagues in the editorial, collection management, and communication teams;
  • Keeping track of the administration of all projects and providing an overview to the manager, the team, and any relevant governing bodies;
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of Groen Kennisnet and the further development of our website.

Requirements

  • You have completed at least a higher professional education (HBO) in the green domain;
  • You have 1 to 3 years of work experience as a project leader or account manager;
  • You are proactive and solution-oriented;
  • You have good digital skills (various systems);
  • You are proficient in both Dutch and English;
  • You have an affinity for knowledge sharing, green themes, and the green domain.

With an eye for detail and a customer-oriented attitude, you engage with the partners of Groen Kennisnet. Are you the action-oriented team player we are looking for?

Groen Kennisnet, alongside publisher Misset, is the operational owner of CRKLS. Management will be conducted through Groen Kennisnet, and accountability will be reported to the CRKLS steering committee.

In our international working environment there is an increasing amount of communication in English. For this position you need to be able to speak Dutch.
