(Sr) Functional Application Manager

What will you do?
As a Senior Functional Application Manager, you and your team manage all HR systems and links. You make sure everything works properly, think along about improvements and help professional users as a second-line user. In addition, you are also a cooperating Scrum Master/ Cooperating foreman. This means that you organize the work in the team, monitor the planning and ensure that everyone can work comfortably. You work together with colleagues inside and outside HR and ensure continuous improvement of our systems and processes.

The role of the application manager is changingSystems no longer stand alone, but work together – often in the cloud. Safety and smart links are becoming increasingly important. Also at WUR. That is why we are looking for administrators who think beyond just "does the button work?"

• Privacy & data: You handle sensitive information with care.
• Cybersecurity: You think along about risks and work together with security.
• Smart permissions: Users can do what is necessary, no more.
• Managing suppliers: You estimate what does and does not suit WUR.
• Links & automation: You know (or learn) APIs and think along about smart, secure solutions.

In short: you make sure everything works and stays safe. Of course, you don't have to do this alone! We have several specialized teams that can support you in this.

You work accurately and like to think along. You easily learn new systems and working methods and work independently, but also well with others. Honesty, customer focus and achieving results are important to you.

You also have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a functional application manager, of which at least 1 year in HR;
• Experience in improving and digitizing (HR) processes;
• Knowledge of different HR systems and links. Experience with ADP Workforce, Multipay or ServiceNow is a plus;
• HBO working and thinking level;
• Good command of Dutch and English;
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate clearly.

In our international working environment, communication is increasingly in English. For this position, for this position, fluency in Dutch and English is required B2. If you do not yet have this level, we will of course help you and you can contact our language center Wageningen in'to Language.

Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive salary of at least € 3,399 to € 5,478 for a full working week of 36 hours in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Wageningen Research (scale 10). The vacancy is for 32 hours per week.

Initially, we offer you a one-year contract, with the intention of converting it to an indefinite contract.
