The Ethics and Philosophy of Technology section is looking for two Assistant Professors (tenure track) of Ethics and Philosophy of Technology with a strong passion for teaching. These positions will consist for ca 60% of teaching, 20% of research, and 20% management. The main focus of both positions is on education, and the research and management will be primarily related to education. The candidates will contribute to and has proven skills in teaching and coaching Bachelor and Master students. The candidates are well equipped for managerial tasks. The candidates are prepared to work in a multidisciplinary environment encompassing engineering sciences, economics, safety science, social and behavioural science, and public policy.

Fixed-term contract: 6 years.
A tenure-track position is offered for six years. In the fifth year we’ll decide if you will be offered a permanent faculty position, based on performance indicators agreed upon at the start of the appointment. We expect that you have the potential to grow towards an Associate Professor and/or Full Professor role in the future.
Inspiring, excellent education is our central aim. We expect you to obtain a University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) within three years if you have less than five years of teaching experience. This is provided by the TU Delft UTQ programme.
