Are you looking for a challenging, but rewarding job in a dynamic setting? The Integrative Model-based Cognitive Neuroscience (IMCN) Research Group within the Brain & Cognition department at the University of Amsterdam is looking for a postdoctoral researcher on the topic of decision-making mechanisms of deep brain networks.
The IMCN Research Group aims to bridge the gap between neuroscience and cognition. Members of the IMCN have a range of skills from neuroanatomy and neurochemistry, to mathematical psychological modelling.
What are you going to doThe research will focus on mathematical modelling of cognitive processes that underpin decision making, ranging across cognitive, motor and limbic domains. Further, the research should aim to link such process models to specific subcortical structures, through collaboration with fellow researchers.
You will/tasks:
- Develop new behavioral models of cognition
- Create joint models of multiple tasks and across multiple modalities
- You will supervise BA and MA students within the Brain & Cognition department including some teaching
