Job description
For the cluster INT, we are looking for a Programme Manager. Our new colleague will report to the Cluster Manager of INT. You will:
- Set up the programmatic approach for the ECIU implementation within the UT. This approach should include a bottom-up strategy to a) build a strong community and b) set up the institutional support processes to assist teachers, researchers and externals to develop new, flexible education opportunities, and novel, impact-focused research approaches.
- Build a strong team within the UT to carry out the programme plan
- Keeping good relations with all levels within the university consisting of:
- facilitating the UT board and faculty boards with the right policy information. aligning the ECIU UT approach with current UT policies such as Life Long Learning and Shaping 2030.
- creating strong ties with the operational level of teachers and researchers to ensure smooth adoption and implementation.
- Organise the implementation of the ECIU University project in the UT
- Support the faculties and service departments in organizing their related projects and implementation, including student and staff exchange services, LLL initiatives, the use of micro credentials and building innovative education with challenges.
- Maintain and contribute to internal networks, and proactively aligning ECIU initiatives and direction with the UT's ambitions.

Requirements
- You have experience in programme management and organisational change. It is a bonus, but not necessary to have experience in internationalisation in Higher Education;
- You have strong analytical skills and ability to bring together multiple developments and prioritise in a complex, fast-paced environment;
- You are a strong relationship builder with an outward focus and can navigate and influence the different internal and external spheres;
- You are ambitious, innovative and result focused;
- You enjoy working in a team but can also balance a high degree of professional autonomy with the flexibility to flourish in a dynamic organisation;
- You are comfortable in situations in which change, uncertainty and lack of clarity occur;
- You can think strategically and at the same time hands on, making others take up and finish their tasks;
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills in English (level C1 CEFR). You are expected to learn Dutch at an intermediate (level B1 CEFR);
- You have a relevant bachelor's degree supplemented by experience or a master's degree and at least four years of relevant experience.
Conditions of employment
- Full-time / part-time position for 32-40 hours a week;
- Employment for the duration of 1 year (extension of employment after this period is a possibility);
- Gross monthly salary max € 5.439,- (full-time) according to scale 12 of the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities, depending on experience and qualifications;
- Excellent secundary employment conditions such as a year-end bonus of 8,3%, facilities for professional and personal development, optional model for employment conditions, home working options (max. 3 days);
- Free access to sports facilities on campus;
