Education and Learning Sciences The Education and Learning Sciences (ELS) chair group of Wageningen University aims to understand and facilitate the enhancement of human potential in response to global challenges, in particular those in the domain of food and life sciences through research and education. Research focuses on learning trajectories, learning environments, learning processes and outcomes and relations between these elements. The context of ELS research is formed by education (secondary, vocational and higher education), business and society and the intersections between these (hybrid learning).
Our education portfolio consists of three pillars:
- Teacher training
- Courses in a broad spectrum of educational sciences
- Skills education
Skills education comprises both BSc, MSc, and PhD student development of 21st century skills to support their academic and professional performance.
