Jeroen is the managing director of AcademicTransfer and started this job in 2008. Since then he has promoted AcademicTransfer not only to be a passive -job board- job searching tool, but encouraged talented people to choose a more proactive way too, in gaining access to the research related job market.

Being a soft- and hardware engineer by trade, programming in creative areas such as synthesizer operating systems, digital artwork and photography, he is always looking for new and creative ways to beat the system. Where a job board is obviously just a job board at first sight, it often contains some hidden gems when you know where to look for.

Currently transforming AcademicTransfer into a career platform -which takes ample time- but in the meanwhile trying to give some pro-tips in using the status quo of the platform to obtain maximum results in matchmaking between candidates and jobs, or even better, future opportunities.
