Job description

Are you the proactive, enthusiastic management assistant who will support our team? Do you get energized by managing tasks down to the finest details and enjoy working in a dynamic environment? Then we are looking for you!

Who are we? You will be part of an enthusiastic team consisting of a management assistant and a deputy manager, responsible for supporting the chair group of Business Economics. We value a good working atmosphere and personal development. In this regard, we attend an annual professional conference to stay up-to-date in our field.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing support to the professors of the chair group (agenda and mailbox management);
  • Administrative support for the chair group;
  • Managing educational administration for the chair group;
  • Placing orders;
  • Booking travel for international guests;
  • Overseeing (and arranging) departmental facilities;
  • Being the point of contact for colleagues and students.

Requirements

You are an enthusiastic team player with a passion for the job. You easily maintain an overview, are communicative, socially skilled, and can quickly switch between tasks. Taking care of others is second nature to you. You also enjoy contributing ideas for optimizing work processes and like to stay informed about developments in your field.

Your qualifications:
  • MBO/HBO level of thinking
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Strong command of Dutch and English
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Quick to master various administrative software systems

Of course, these great secondary benefits come with a competitive salary. We offer a market-based salary ranging from €2,872 to €3,454 for a full-time 38-hour workweek, in accordance with the CAO for Dutch Universities (scale 6). This is a long-term position. Initially, we offer a one-year contract, with the intention to convert it into a permanent contract after successful performance.
