Job description

Will you be our new (senior) records manager at Document Management & Archiving? You help us work completely digitally, think along with us about smart record management and bring fresh ideas. We offer a substantively enjoyable job, a pleasant working atmosphere and a good pension scheme.

Your job as a record manager at WUR:
You ensure that information is properly stored, used and tidied up and you are able to convey these principles to WUR employees who work with information on a daily basis. You think about digitization and help colleagues work smarter. Preferably, you can draw on experience gained in a previous position. Together with the team of records managers, record managers and application managers, you will continue to improve our services.

What will you do?
  • Giving advice to WUR colleagues on information and archive policy;
  • Registering, checking and archiving files in the DMS Corsa;
  • Thinking about improving work processes and digitization;
  • Selecting archives and securely destroying them;
  • Participate in internal projects in the field of information management and archiving;
  • Contributing to the quality of our services.

Requirements

What will you do?

  • Contributing to the quality of our services.

You are/have you:
  • An MBO-4 diploma and work experience in information management;
  • Knowledge of archive rules and the translation of these into digital archive systems (such as Corsa);
  • Knowledge of information management within digital collaboration systems (such as Teams, SharePoint, shared network drives);
  • Strong communication in Dutch and English;
  • Structured, flexible and solution-oriented;
  • Willing to continue learning and developing yourself;
  • Driving license B in your possession.

This is where you will work:
At Wageningen University & Research, we ensure that information is available digitally in a smart and sustainable way. Our Document Management department is part of the Facilities and Services department, which supports the workplace of students and employees. We help the organization with:
  • Advice on good and transparent information management;
  • The safe storage of important documents, digital as a starting point;
  • Compliance with legal provisions in the field of information management and archiving.

In short: you contribute to a modern, reliable information management that helps everyone move forward.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 1 year.

When it comes to terms of employment Wageningen University & Research is the right place for you. Highlights from our collective labour agreement are, for example:

Of course, these excellent fringe benefits also include an appropriate salary. Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive salary of a minimum of € 2,979 to a maximum of € 3,893 for a full working week of 36 hours in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Wageningen Research (scale 7). A working week of 32 hours is also possible.
