Application procedure

We look forward to receiving your application for the role of PhD researcher, the application should include:
  • your CV;
  • a motivation letter (max. 1 page), which should clearly outline your interest in the topic, and the expertise you bring to this project.

Please upload the following documents via the section ‘various uploads’:
  • an outline of research questions you would be interested in exploring, a set of methodologies you would plan to use to address them, and three key references you would build upon (incl. a reasoning) (max. two pages, 11-point font, single-spaced)
  • a writing sample, such as a publication, conference submission and/or other output documenting scientific engagement.
  • one academic reference letter, including the referee's email address, affiliation, and position;
  • proof of English and Dutch proficiency, if necessary.

The application procedure consists of max. two interviews (foreseen in April 2025).
