Job description

As a receptionist, you are the first face and point of contact for our company. With your welcoming and professional attitude, you ensure visitors receive a warm welcome and you contribute to a pleasant and well-organised working environment. You will be based in Bleiswijk and play an important role in the daily support of our organisation.

As a receptionist, you will help ensure a smooth reception of visitors and the efficient handling of administrative and facilities processes.
Within the team, you are responsible for the first point of contact, maintaining oversight and supporting colleagues where necessary.

Your duties and responsibilities include:
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors.
  • Answering and forwarding telephone calls and emails.
  • Managing diaries and scheduling appointments.
  • Supporting light administrative tasks.
  • Preparing meeting facilities (rooms, coffee and lunches, etc.).
  • Ensuring a tidy and presentable reception area.

You will work within a committed organisation of approximately 120 colleagues. From our Bleiswijk location, you will collaborate with various departments in an informal yet professional environment. You will become part of a supportive team of 12 colleagues, 5 of whom are based in Bleiswijk. It is a close-knit, friendly and welcoming team where collaboration is central.

Requirements

You are welcoming, service-oriented and a strong communicator. You enjoy structure, can easily switch between tasks and are able to prioritise effectively.

You also have:
  • MBO level of working and thinking (intermediate vocational education level).
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable).
  • Good command of Dutch and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and administrative systems.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude.
  • A professional and presentable appearance.

We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between € 2,749.- and € 3,231.- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 4). As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended. Of course, we are happy to have a conversation with you if you have any questions about this.
