The technician will support the project by performing a range of tasks involving both in vitro laboratory work (e.g. histology, imaging, and cell culture) and in vivo animal studies using brain tumour models. The technician will work in close collaboration with the post-doctoral researcher appointed to the same project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting and supporting a variety of in vivo experiments, including the assessment of brain tumour responses.
- Performing associated laboratory assays and in vitro analyses.
- Analysing, interpreting, and accurately documenting experimental data.
- Providing assistance and training to students working in the laboratory.
- Maintaining high standards of organisation, attention to detail, and good laboratory practice.
Experience with in vivo brain tumour models will be considered a strong advantage.
