L2BGreen aims to leverage scalable, digital ways of learning as the means to move forward the green transition through increased awareness and knowledge of green entrepreneurship. Toward this goal, the project consortium will co-creatively develop a series of multilingual online learning experiences, facilitated by a novel AI agent, based on LLMs and Learning Sciences frameworks. The pedagogical agent will play the roles of (a) a tutor, guiding the learner through material and assessment, (b) a learning companion, answering open-ended questions and offering suggestions for next steps, and (c) a broker, bringing like-minded learners together into a learning community.
The project involves 10 partners from 7 European countries (Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Greece, Estonia) and targets a range of different audiences (students in HEI and VET, and professionals). The consortium includes universities, VET providers, startup accelerators, SMEs, and an industry partner charged with the development of the pedagogical agent.
The University of Twente is coordinating the project and is involved in tasks related to the design and evaluation of online learning experiences and the pedagogical agent. The postdoc is expected to conduct studies involving the agent and online learning, and support the project coordination team in managing the project.
Finally, the project can offer high opportunities for visibility, networking, and traveling to the postdoc. Upon discussion, teaching duties (e.g., student supervision) can be agreed upon, especially if the postdoc would like to develop a teaching portfolio.
