Medicom Medical Publishers is The International Congress Specialist. Our Conference Reports cover the main European and American medical conferences, in specialty areas varying from diabetes to cancer. Our Conference Report series in medicine are peer-reviewed and include key findings, guidelines, state-of-the-art reviews, clinical updates and late breaking data.
We facilitate fast and broad dissemination of new clinical insights presented at the congress from over 25 medical congresses annually. Some of these as official publishing partner of the society, such as the European Society of Cardiology.
For each congress, we publish independent content for the physician in the form of news from the congress, peer-reviewed scientific content, and eCME modules, made possible by sponsorship. Our reports are read in over 40 countries.

So, what’s the job?
You will create medically and scientifically accurate, informative, and persuasive content across a range of therapeutic areas for our conference reports. How does this work? In consultation with the appointed Advisory Board (1 Editor, 2-3 Reviewers), you will select the most important conference sessions to be covered. Upon final Editor approval, you will attend the selected sessions at the conference for the preparation of the individual articles for inclusion in the conference report, and other related content items, such as news articles, eCME, expert interviews, advertorials, etc.
What qualities are we looking for?
You are a highly motivated, flexible and driven individual. You are passionate about medicine and eager to be at the advances in science.
Preferably you have a Doctoral Level in life sciences. You have relevant experience in medical writing at a publisher or medical communications agency. You are able to understand scientific and clinical information and then use that knowledge to create compelling content for diverse groups of medical specialists. You will work closely together with the Editorial Team (3 members), the Sales Team (5 members), the Editor, and clients where needed. Teamwork and collaboration are a must because we expect excellence of ourselves and in our work for clients. There will be a lot of travelling involved in this job, but the office is in Baarn, the Netherlands.
