You will teach courses at the School of Psychology, including the Bachelor's domain 'Behaviour and Environment', the Master's programmes in 'Behaviour Change' and 'Work, Organisation and Health', and the Research Master's programme in Behavioural Science. Teaching will be in Dutch and English. You will supervise psychology students writing Bachelor's and Master's theses. Over time, you will independently improve, develop and coordinate your own courses. We approach teaching as teamwork and organise regular meetings to discuss challenges and opportunities, and to learn from each other.
You will conduct research in the Behaviour Change and Well-being (BCW) programme and/or Work, Health, and Performance (WHP) programme. The mission of both programmes is to conduct innovative research on the psychological processes underlying human behaviour in social contexts (BCW) and work and organisational contexts (WHP) respectively, and to do so in a transparent and sound manner. We encourage collaboration with researchers from other programmes offered by the Behavioural Science Institute (BSI).

The School for Psychology and Artificial Intelligence and the Behavioural Science Institute (BSI) at Radboud University are looking for three experienced Assistant Professors in Social Psychology and/or Work and Organisational Psychology (0.8 - 1.0 FTE each) to further strengthen our teaching and research. Your educational responsibilities will be to coordinate and teach courses at the Bachelor's and Master's levels and to contribute to the development of teaching. You will supervise Bachelor's and/or Master's theses and contribute to the development of thesis supervision. We always strive for a good fit with your research expertise.
The research of the three positions will be embedded within BSI. For Position A, we are looking for a candidate with a research profile that fits in with the research programme in Behaviour Change and Well-being (BCW). For Position B, we are looking for a candidate with a research profile that fits in with the research programme in Work, Health, and Performance (WHP). For Position C, we are seeking a candidate whose research crosses the boundaries of both research programmes.
The School for Psychology and Artificial Intelligence offers excellent educational programmes and has currently approximately 1,800 students. The Bachelor's programme has a yearly influx of about 450 new students. The Master's degree in Psychology has three specialisations that prepare students for an academic or professional career: 'Work, Organisation and Health', 'Behaviour Change', and 'Health Care Psychology'. The School of Psychology offers two Research Master's programmes: Behavioural Science (in collaboration with BSI) and Cognitive Neuroscience (in collaboration with the Donders Institute for Cognition, Brain and Behaviour).
BSI is a multidisciplinary research institute for behavioural science. Our researchers collaborate across the boundaries of psychology, educational science and communication science. BSI has seven research programmes covering three major research themes: 1) development and learning, 2) psychopathology, health and well-being, and 3) social processes and communication. BSI scientists conduct both fundamental and applied/translational research. BSI has state-of-the-art research facilities for observational studies, experiments, eye-tracking studies, EEG and other physiological measures, and behavioural measurements in real and 3D virtual environments.
