The position involves teaching, research and contributing to the Academic community at the University. Your teaching responsibilities will include teaching Strategic Management in our various BSc, MSc and MBA programs, and in time contributing to executive programs.
Consistent with our emphasis on managerial relevance, the candidate will be encouraged to develop and update teaching materials, cases and exercises, in the light of international developments and emerging research. The candidate is expected to develop a research portfolio of original academic research, publish in peer-reviewed academic journals and disseminate knowledge in practitioner oriented outlets on issues that have a strong managerial focus and which are of relevance and interest to an international audience.
You have a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university including from strategy/economics, social psychology, or other relevant social sciences. Candidates expecting to complete their Ph.D. in the near future are also welcome to apply. You have proven to have experience and a talent for teaching and research. We ask your teaching to be in fluent English and when you are not already Dutch speaking to have the willingness to learn the Dutch language. It is necessary to have credentials to teach at Dutch universities and to be BKO registered or willing to register within two years. You should be comfortable and willing to work in a team.
Fixed-term contract: 1 year with possibility for a permanent extension.
