We are looking for 15 candidates for different postdoc positions in the three themes: Circular Food Systems, Health and Digitalisation.

The aim of the Social Science Group of Wageningen University and Research is to understand social processes with regard to today's global challenges of disparities and poverty, of responsible production and consumption, of natural resource use and the environment, as well as of knowledge in society.

Requirements

As the successful candidate we ask:
  • a PhD degree (specified by all 15 postdoc projects);
  • excellent communication and social skills;
  • an emerging publishing record in peer reviewed international academic literature;
  • demonstrated interest or ability to work in an interdisciplinary research environment;
  • outstanding analytical skills.

Conditions of employment

A challenging position with, depending on your experience, a competitive salary from a minimum of € 2.709,- to a maximum of € 4.274,- for a full working week of 38 hours in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement Dutch Universities (scale 10). In addition, an appointment of 0.8 or 1.0 FTE is negotiable.
In addition, we offer:
  • 8% holiday allowance;
  • a structural year-end bonus of 8.3%;
