You have the following knowledge and experience:

• A completed academic education.
• Minimum 2 years of (coaching) managerial experience (as a hierarchical manager, and/or as a program- or project manager).
• Good knowledge of higher education policies.
• Good knowledge of internationalisation and (international) developments in the field of higher education, including the challenges ambitious universities face.
• A true liaison and proven networker: focused on collaboration and connection, both within the organisation and externally.
• Good political-administrative feeling and strong in stakeholder management; familiar with working in complex administrative environments.
• Conceptual thinker with innovative ideas.
• Excellent communication properties.
• Excellent mastery of spoken and written English (IELTS C1-C2).

For this ambitious task, we are looking for a networking strategist and organizer who can easily connect with the key figures in the field of Internationalisation within the university and the international network, thus profiling the UT as the figurehead of internationalisation.

It is your task to further strengthen international-strategic thinking and acting within the entire UT, to further strengthen your team and to establish a strong link between the theme of internationalisation with all ranks of the university. Together with your team, you create an all-encompassing and supported strategic vision. This way you ensure that the theme of internationalisation is given a central place at the university and you guide the UT to the next phase in the internationalisation process in an inspiring way.

In addition to a very interesting and diverse position, in which you have professional space to develop a solid internationalisation vision and bring about important further development of international culture in all sections of the UT, you will receive a gross monthly salary of up to € 6,317,– depending on your background and relevant experience. This salary is in accordance with scale 13 of the Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) for Dutch Universities. In addition, the UT offers excellent facilities for professional and personal development, a holiday allowance of 8%, and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.

It concerns a full-time (38 hours) employment. Working part-time is negotiable. The UT offers a one-year contract with the option of a permanent appointment to the position.
