Fixed-term contract: tenure track, 5 years.

The starting salary for the position of an assistant professor on a full-time basis ranges between € 3.746 and € 5.127 gross per month.

The Department of Developmental Psychology at Tilburg University is an internationally diverse group of researchers who collaborate within the framework of the research program "Development of Individual Differences: Bio-Psycho-Social Perspectives". The department offers a stimulating and supporting work atmosphere in which scientists are encouraged to move beyond existing paradigms. The research in our department focuses on socioemotional, personality and cognitive changes during the entire lifespan (from childhood to old age) in interaction with the environment. Besides healthy development, the department also examines developmental disorders and delinquent behavior. Our research is integrated in a faculty-wide program focusing on Health, Well-Being and Adaptiveness. The department is contributing to education in the Dutch and English Bachelor Psychology program (Developmental and Lifespan Psychology; Forensic Psychology) and Master’s programs (Clinical Child and Youth Psychology; Clinical Forensic Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Positive Psychology; and Research Master Individual Differences and Assessment).
