The Human Resources Department (HRM) consists of approximately 90 enthusiastic colleagues. In addition to HR advice, HRM also comprises the Policy, HR services & E-HRM, Professional Development and AMVS departments.
As an HR Advisor, you will be seconded to a faculty and/or department and you will contribute to the further professionalization and further development of the HR policy and advice for the relevant organizational unit. In addition, you will actively participate in university-wide HRM projects. In your role, you will work together with fellow HR advisors and HR service employees. With your knowledge and skills, you will contribute to the realization of HRM activities within the breadth of the discipline, such as recruitment, inflow, development, absenteeism and outflow.
Core tasks
- Advising and supporting managers on an operational/tactical level with regards to (individual) employee topics;
- Advising the departmental board on HR policy and organizational topics;
- Contribute to the development of the HR institution policy and ensure the translation and adequate implementation within the assigned organizational unit;
- In your work you look for the connection with the business, and you oversee what is needed. Regularly you will take on an advisory and/or coaching role, at other times you will pick up HR-related issues yourself and ensure that the processes are correctly set up and that the reports are accurate.
