Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) are a major advancement in the treatment of leukemias and solid tumors. However, the development and translation from bench to bedside of these products is hampered by a shortage of qualified personnel. In light of a nation-wide consortium, DARE-NL, you will set-up a training program for the next generation of ATMP researchers. Furthermore, in this project you will set-up an infrastructure to exchange knowledge between the different consortium partners to speed up the translation from ATMP research to bedside use.

The perfect candidate holds a PhD in the life sciences or equivalent and has affinity for education. Knowledge of GMP regulation is appreciated.

The gross monthly salary amounts a maximum of € 4.800,- (scale 10), depending on your level of education and relevant experience, based on a full-time week of 36 hours.

The terms of employment are according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Dutch University Medical Centers (CAO UMC).

Erasmus MC

You will be part of the cell therapy facility of Erasmus MC at the department of Hematology. This department invests in basic, translational and clinical research. The cell therapy facility provides cellular therapy for over 300 patients per year making this the largest cell therapy clinic in the Netherlands. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other departments within the Erasmus MC and the other consortium partners.
