What does this job entail?You will be conducting innovative research and be actively contributing to an innovative research topic entitled the "Transformative Effects of Globalization within Law" (
TEGL). This is a collaboration between four Dutch law faculties: Tilburg University, Maastricht University, Open University and University of Amsterdam that examines how law and legal processes can foster just sustainability in global contexts. Within the University of Amsterdam, you will be participating in, and you will be contributing to the Sustainable Global Economic Law (
SGEL) research project: a unique interdisciplinary research group bringing together legal scholars in EU, private and international public law, working on the interactions between global economic law, environmental and social justice issues. Besides your individual research projects, you will also actively contribute to the organization of international events and joint research projects, working within interdisciplinary diverse teams. Finally, as part of your role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to teaching innovative courses in either international public or EU law.
