Job description

The Aubin-Tam group at the TU Delft is looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher with a PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics or a related field. This post-doctoral position concerns structural and functional studies on a motor protein integrated in the membrane, and crucial for protein degradation. The project will require the successful candidate to use novel biophysical tools. The project also involves structural studies with cryo-electron microscopy, either through collaboration or by the candidate him/herself, depending on the candidate's background. Previous experience in the purification and study of membrane proteins is a plus.

Requirements

The candidate should have a PhD degree in the field of biochemistry, structural or molecular biology, biophysics or a related field. Good communication skills in English are required.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 3 years.
